HELP TO THE CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Parents of the children with disabilities finally can take a break thank to the humanity of the leading people from city municipalities Medijana, Palilula, Pantelej and Doljevac who are in the CM Medijana signed consortium agreement of partnership on the project “Breather”. Beside carrier of the project important link in the chain of its realization will be Associations of single – mothers, Institution “Mara”, Home “Dusko Radovic” and organization of Red Cross Doljevac.

Essence of the project is that will kids with mental health history and their parents, during 18 months be able to count on the practical and professional help of trained housewife from the Association of single – mothers. Hand of cooperation will provide them and  psychologists, educators and other experts of Association “Mara”. With all of this, parents will be able to leave kids on take care of in the Home “Dusko Radovic” where will about them take care experts, half day, day or more days.

With project will be included 150 kids and their families, announced Dragoslav Cirkovic, president of Medijana Municipality and added: - There is no better way to express concern about man. In future, parents of the children with disabilities will be able to devote to themselves, while about their children will take professional people, said Cirkovic.

Partner on this human project is and City Municipality of Palilula headed by Prof. Dr Igor Novakovic. As Novakovic pointed out, by signing the contract, this four partner municipalities proved that to them is concern about the man on the first place, and above all care of vulnerable groups which are more and more. Palilula already have experience in the projects of EU which support social vulnerable groups of people and work on this project is continuation of already existing activity, said president Novakovic.

One of the signatories of the contract was Slavisa Dinic, president of City Municipality of Pantelej. Pantelej Municipality is until now signed contracts of cooperation with 15 associations of citizens from vulnerable groups. This is only one in a series of the steps with which we want to make easier life to our citizens with various healthy problems and that in that purpose we put assets of foreign funds, highlighted Dinic.
